Language Arts: Finish your argument persuasive paragraph.  Remember this needs to be 5-6 sentences long.  Stick to your position.  You are either for or against your topic!

Math: Worksheet on multiplying to solve one step equations.  Remember multiplication and division are opposite/inverse operations.  If the number is connected to the variable by multiplication, divide on both sides to isolate the variable.  If the number is connected to the variable by division, multiply on both sides to isolate the variable.  Don't forget to include negatives!

7th reading: Finish rephrasing "Annabel Lee"

8th reading: Diary entry #2.

Use the timeline on page 367 and the other information from the Background of Anne Frank to record facts about Anne Frank and World War II.  On your yellow triangle, write 3 facts about Anne Frank in the corners, and in the blue write three facts about World War II in the corners.  We will connect them with a brass fastener tomorrow.

7th Reading:
Make a list of the rhyming words from Edgar Allen Poe's "Annabell Lee"

Math:

Hello class!

A few reminders.  We have a math test on Wednesday covering: opposites, absolute value, adding and subtracting integers, and multiplying and dividing integers.

We have no school on Thursday or Friday of this week.

Homework:

7th grade reading: Complete a Venn Diagram comparing Eastern and Western dragons

8th grade reading: Use your new vocabulary words from the Harriet Tumban story in original sentences.  The words are: fugitives, incomprehensible, incentive, dispel and eloquence.

Math: Finish the review packet
Social Studies: complete a current event write up for the current event of your choosing.
